I Heart Walgreen's (9/20-9/26)

This week Walgreen's had Excedrin Migraine on sale for $6.99 for a bottle of 100 caplets. This is a total life-saver for me and I was out. The average everyday price (AEP) for these around town is around $10/bottle of 100 so I normally just get a smaller bottle of a store generic.

I walked into the store with a $3 Register Reward left from last week and a mild craving for chocolate. I always check the end caps for clearance items and I found large Ghirardelli Duet chocolate bars on clearance for $1 each. A quick peak at the Walgreen's September Coupon Book showed a $1 off 2 coupon for those.

• Clip and save those coupons!
• Check the Walgreen's ad every week to match up your coupons with sales and Register Reward deals
• Know how to "roll" Register Rewards
• Check the clearance end caps on the aisles
• Get used to doing multiple transactions at checkout
