Back to Pick N' Save for more of the 8/$10 Kellogg's deal. I also went to Walgreen's to take advantage of the 2 day "Buy $25, Get $5 Register Rewards" deals. There wasn't anything earth-shattering in the ad this week, but I was able to make it worth it.
For a glossary of terms and list of the abbreviations I use, click here.

The deal for Kellogg's is "Buy 8 selected Kellogg's, Keebler or Sunshine items at $2.50 each, get $10 off your grocery total with your Pick N' Save card." I asked the manager if it buying 16 items would take off $20 and he wasn't sure, said to be safe and do two separate transactions. So I did.

Altogether I saved over 82% on 16 boxes of Kellogg's cereal, one large Olay lotion, a medium Olay body wash, an awesome shaver (my legs don't care if it's a "man's" shaver, they only care to get shaved close and not get cut), lens solution, and 6 cute gift sacks for holiday teacher gifts and I *still* had change from a $10 bill and $17 in fresh Regsiter Rewards.
KCM Lessons Learned:
- When presented with a good deal, do it again and again and again. There's nothing wrong with 30 boxes of cereal in your cupboards that cost less than 6 would have.
- Save every coupon, even if you don't think you'll need it or ever use the product. Why? There were $1 Complete coupons floating around a while back that I could have used on the lens solution making them a $1 money maker after Register Rewards. I don't have contacts, didn't care if the lens solution ever went on sale so I skipped the coupons. As it was I was able to convert difficult to use $2 RR's into a larger $8 RR, and get some free stuff to add in to my sister's care package. But an extra dollar would have been better.
- A good shaver is a good shaver whether it's pink with flowers on the package or black with an orange racing stripe. My legs don't care if I'm using a "man's" shaver, they only care to get shaved close and not get cut.
